HR Advice and Support

Our HR Consultants are well placed to provide you with HR advice and support.  Available over the telephone, by email or in-person onsite, HR assistance on employment issues is available from our CIPD qualified consultants. We provide support to businesses both with and without a dedicated HR lead, covering the employment life cycle and your employee’s journey. From the attraction phase, recruitment process through to onboarding, retention and development processes and offboarding.  With you every step of the way, we have the experience to assist you with a range of HR issues: onboarding support; managing sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance, redundancy/restructuring or TUPE matters; assisting with a project including training; facilitation of exits/interviews and outplacement.  Your dedicated consultant would get to know your organisation, understand your requirements and provide you with peace of mind on a variety of people related issues and matters that arise on a day-to-day basis or with emerging trends.

Investigations

Investigations can be hugely time consuming and can impact on organisations significantly from a resourcing perspective, in terms of employee morale and the wider implications that they carry.

Investigations need to be able to stand up to scrutiny even when the subject matter is highly sensitive or complex. Both employment tribunals, regulatory procedures and other processes may scrutinize the findings and workings of an investigation, so it is of paramount importance that they are undertaken thoroughly and in a procedurally correct way as well as promptly and in a manner that allows the organisation to maintain “business as usual” to the fullest extent possible.

Our team are well versed in undertaking complex investigations and will deal with all such matters promptly and professionally. Reports will be compiled clearly and thoroughly so that they give clear outcomes and can be relied upon when needed.

Workplace Mediation

Conflict can occur in any employment relationship and is best dealt with in its infancy.  Leaving such situations to escalate can have a number of implications including grievance, disciplinary or potential employment tribunals claims.

Our expert mediator, Peter Thompson, can assist. Peter has an extensive and established background as a Mediator, assisting on a range of matters including conducting workplace and employment mediation and also promoting mediation as an alternative to traditional methods, as a way to achieve dispute resolution.
